Minyerri School Kids

As part of our induction week we had the local school
kids out from the Minyerri Community to show them
what we are up to out here. We had all the primary
school kids in the morning, which was just over 100
kids then in the afternoon we had about 50 highschool
kids. The primary cooked scones and damper in the
camp oven and did a tour and the high school kids did
a tour and watched a slideshow and then watched a movie
on the big screen. They all said they had a great time.
We were exhausted by the end of the day.

At the beginning of the week we all did our
senior first aid certificates which took 2 days.
Then we had a day of work health and safety, then
we had a day of this and that, like safety around
helicopters etc, So very busy week, it just hasn't
stopped lately, between visitors, courses and
mustering we just haven't stopped.

Too Hard

My apologies everyone. I have to share the school computer to use the
internet at the moment until I can get something hooked up at the house.
I used to blog early morning or late at night, so with the only internet
connection down at the school room I am finding it all too hard, so when I
finally get it hooked up at the house I will go back to daily blogs.
I promise, I do!
