Well the boys went out to Minimere camping and fishing on the weekend.
Brought some Barra home for the freezer which was great!
Todd and Jay wanted me to post these pictures for a teaser for
their grandfathers!

Baby Announcements

My sister and I made these in April when she was visiting. She didn't know what
she was having so we had to make something that was for both sex's. She
wanted to have them all ready to put in a photo and the info as soon as she had
the baby (well maybe it was a few days later) to let everyone know.

I whipped one up for her as an eg, then left her to it. Just Joking?
I did a heap of cutting out for her and put the little circle things together ready.
Then over the next couple of days she made them all up, I can't remember
how many exactly, I think it was about 50......

She bought some flat magnets to put on the back of them, so the recipients
could put them on the fridge. We made them so they could be posted in
the long skinny envelopes.

Look what I got for my birthday.

Well it was my birthday on the 15th September and it worked out really well as
I was visiting my sister I got to spend the day with my twin brother and family.

I have been so needing (wanting!) a new camera, so told John that for my birthday
I would get myself a new camera and that could be my present from everyone.
I got myself a Canon 1000D EOS. I need lots of practise, but have been trying it
out on the new baby of course and since I've been home on the men working.
So be prepared, there's no stopping me now.

I'm a new Auntie.

My sister and her partner had a gorgeous baby girl on the 30th August.

Well I haven't been creating or blogging lately, cause I've been visiting.
She is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to put her in my port and bring her home.

Another thing I really enjoyed was buying GIRLS clothes.

I left Rockhampton at 6.45 am after having to be at the airport at 5.45am and got back here at
9.00pm at night. Talk about exhausted, but it was great to catch up with everyone.

Mel's Challenge - Yes well....

Mel had a challenge going about 3 weeks ago to make a card using SU Punches
on a card. Well as usual I left it to the last day, got in had it made, took the photo!
Well the men went to service the generator and then couldn't restart it.
So no power, no computer! So I missed out on getting it in on time, so
thought I'd post a copy of it, as I'm pretty happy with how it turned out
and it is VERY bright in real life.
