I agree Jean....

Jean McKenzie http://www.jeanmckenzie.blogspot.com/
posted a comment about my cards using the scraps from
the DP Holiday Thyme the other day, about how she finds
it hard to use the paper as she loves it so much.

Well Jean I'm with you, but I find it hard to use
ANY DESIGNER PAPER! I've usually bought it
because I love it, but then I hate to cut it. LOL
Strange I know. And I have been forcing myself
lately, if you haven't noticed, to start using it on a
lot more of my cards.

But Jean, I bought 3 pkts of thie Holiday Thyme
paper so I betta use some I think....

This card is very similar to the one below, which
I would love to hear comments on as to whether
it's to plain or not. This card was along the same
theme, but blinging it up a bit......
I JUST COULDN'T HELP MYSELF!
I stamped it on cream instead of white and
mounted it on the DP with Cranberry Crisp
and True Thyme, which were in colours last
year. I truly think they should have kept these
colours as they are so versatile.
I inked the ribbon on the stitching as the white
was too stark and attached it with a spiral out
of the hodgepodge (another thing I find hard
to use).
I love how this bird out of the Always set looks
all Christmassy when stamped in red.
And the branches and wording is from the
Peaceful Wishes set.

Cheers to everyone,

Kristy xo

Kristy, I feel the same about any of the DS papers - all waay too nice to cut into but have been trying to use some instead of stashing!!
This card looks lovely with that striped paper. I just love that set - it is very versatile I feel.
