birthday party, so I thought I would whip a card for him to take home
to him. I really love how this turned out. I had no idea when I started
all I knew was I wanted to use the rocket from Pun Fun and have a
moon involved, then it evolved from there.
The background card was Tempting Turquoise, I then used Summer
Sun, which I tore around the edges, then came the DSP which is from
the series Loves Me from last years catalogue.
The moon I got some leather look white card that I had, cut the circle
out then put it through the cuttlebug, I then backed it with Taken
with Teal to make it stand out a bit. As you can see in the photo below the
moon is raised. The little rocket was coloured, I then put some Real Red
through the crimper and cut it in strips to look like the heat stream
coming out the back, the rocket was then put on majic mount to look
like it was flying over the moon.
The happy birthday is a Stamp World stamp, I love the boldness of it
which I think is great for kids as makes it easier to see and read. I just
used my markers on this in all of the colours I used on the card, Summer
Sun, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Taken with Teal.
Backed it and placed it on the card like it is flying.
The rest speaks for itself, I just cut some stars with the punches and put
them around the card. Can't see it in the photo, but I put a bit of Kindy
Glitz on the rocket to make it stand out a little.
TFL!
luv,
Kristy
